I bought my first succulent a few years back when I came across
The Garden Gallery in Morro Bay. I just loved the way they looked, and the staff assured me they'd make it in Fresno's harsh summers. I put together a pot with 5 different succulents, and used it as the centerpiece on our patio table. It flourished in the summer, and all of them outgrew their pot. I read that they are super easy to transplant, just pull them out and stick them in a new pot. So out of my five plants, I pinched off growths and put them into 6 new pots, keeping my pot of 5 still in tact. They were all still doing so well until Blitz came on the scene. He knocked all of my new pots off of their places and ate the succulents. I did manage to spare my original 5 spot pot and it resides in our living room now.
On our last trip to Pismo, we went through Morro Bay and I purchased a pot to hang on the wall, and numerous new succulents to try. I finally potted them this weekend. I decided to pull one from my 5 spot pot that was totally overgrown, and am looking forward to seeing what it will do. It looks funny now, but hopefully that bottom "hangy" one will fill out and sort of sprawl down. If it doesn't, I'll probably stick it somewhere else in our garden.
Anyway, if you're ever in Morro Bay, you HAVE to stop by The Garden Gallery. It's just amazing.

Okay, enough stalling. Time for Statics homework :(
