For the New Year, we rented a beach house with several others at Dillon Beach, CA near Bodega Bay. It was absolutely beautiful there, and Ben and I were lucky enough to score the master suite. This was the view looking outside our window:

There was a lot of drinking, eating great food, and relaxing (ie Sleeping!). I have never witnessed so much sleeping!
The most eventful thing Ben and I did was take a walk on the beach together on NYE right around sunset. We witnessed more people with dogs than you can imagine, and even a really small wedding. It was just gorgeous and a fun way to ring in the new year.
I am currently feeling very optimistic about what 2012 will bring for me. I will graduate college, which will be the biggest accomplishment of my life. I also hope other big life-changing events will take place. Only time will tell :)

And that is just about that. I did catch a cold on NYE so I rang in the new year sick. Doesn't really matter though. HIGH HOPES!
