Two weekends ago, we held my graduation party. Let me just start this off with a bit of a rant. It is incredibly hard to plan a party when people don't RSVP. Biggest pet peeve ever! Not to mention, throwing a party is a TON of work.
I had worked on getting the house clean / organized during the week while Ben was away at work. Then when he returned Friday, we had to do a ton of shopping, and even more work. We were making a pasta salad when people literally started showing up. Some came early! It was super stressful leading up to it, but once everything was done, it was so worth it. It took us a week before everything was back in order around here.
Anyway, we ended up having a good turnout. I was surprised and grateful for everyone who came to celebrate, especially those who came from out of town. Ben's sister, Arin, came from L.A. while Ben's dad and his girlfriend came from San Francisco. It was a lot of fun and the food was great! The only negative is that I didn't take any pictures. Luckily my friends did, so I have SOME pictures from the party, even if they are all from one table!
