It's amazing how breezy and nice life feels when school is not in session. I must admit that going to school while working a professional job has to be one of the hardest things I've ever endured. I am so envious of all of the kids who made the smart choice to go right out of high school, get it over with, and then start their careers. Doing things backward is one of my biggest regrets in life. I know I will forget all about that regret once I walk down that isle and receive my diploma. I definitely took the hard road to get it. Life lesson learned!
This weekend has been extra fun, considering I didn't have the black cloud of school looming over, screaming, "don't let go and have too much fun - you have homework to do!" When I got home from work at noon Friday, I spent my afternoon catching up on the DVR and reading the rest of Summer in the City. Cute, easy read. That night we went to Zoo Lights which is a fun even the Fresno Zoo puts on. They basically dress the whole place in Christmas lights and decorations, serve cookies and coco, and it's just a really fun environment if you love Christmas (which I do!) It was my first time going and I can guarantee it won't be my last.

Saturday we were all over the place. We drive to Visalia to take pictures of Blitz with Santa. His trainer was Santa. Since we didn't get a pic in hand, we went to Petco to take more because we want to use them for our Christmas cards. I am THE WORST because it's the week of Christmas and I have not sent out cards yet. I feel like a major failure on that one. Anyway, I spent the afternoon reading before we went to Ben's work Christmas party. The party was cool, the food was good. Afterward we went to Ben's favorite local bar for after drinks with some of his co-workers. All in all it was a good evening.

| I am the cutest puppy that has ever lived, and everywhere I go, people literally SQUEAL over me. |
Today I plan to tidy up around here and finish reading "A Stolen Life" by Jaycee Dugard. I'm having a bit of a hard time with this book because I simply cannot fathom that it is non-fiction. Seriously.
