Hix Wedding

Last night I had the honor of serving as a bridesmaid for my friend, Cassandra. We started Saturday morning by getting ready at my house, the girls getting their hair and make up done. While waiting our turn, we helped put together our bouquets, and put the finishing touches on our dresses. It was crazy, busy, and stressful, but amazingly we pulled it off and were even on time! Ben really pulled through and helped us out so much by running out and grabbing all the last minute things that were forgotten. Couldn't have gotten through this without him!

The wedding was absolutely gorgeous. Ben's mom lent us her beautiful backyard for pictures after the ceremony. She just so happens to live across the street and have an amazing yard. It was super kind of her to let everyone use her yard.

They didn't have a DJ, but they had an iPad set up with playlists. They asked Ben to do the announcements for toasts, dances, bouquet toss, etc. and he did such a flawless job that people thought he was a professional :)

I hope to be able to share pictures with you soon. In the meantime, I have some sleep to catch up on.
